Dear cuenv,
I am a post-doc at the statistics department (in the school of social works, 1255 Amsterdam Ave).
I am outraged by the way the cooler temperatures in this building are set.
I have access to some of them and everyday set the temperature to 70-75 degrees (Fahrenheit), only to find out in a couple hours that it’s been set by someone else to 50 or less, and on high fan power!!
I mean, even if we forget all the wastefulness, etc,
do we have to freeze when we’re inside the building?
Do you know who I can contact about this? I have tried talking to people in the building but nobody feels responsible for it.
